He began his career at BAE Systems as an Apprentice Fitter, later progressing into the Stress Office at Warton in Lancashire.

After 13 years at BAE Systems, Jerrod broadened his experience internationally, working for Boeing in the USA, Fokker in the Netherlands, and finally for Airbus in Germany.

In 2009, he returned to the UK to establish AFD Systems, responding to growing demand for specialist stress analysis services for EASA Part21J Design Organisations across the UK and Europe.

Jerrod is an accomplished leader, strategist, innovator and entrepreneur.

He is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and performance, ensuring AFD Systems consistently delivers excellence in engineering and advanced manufacturing.

Jerrod leads a business defined by innovation, collaboration and team-work, with a clear intent to strengthen the aerospace and defence supply chain by bringing in-depth expertise to customers while nurturing and developing local talent.

Alongside this, he is focussed on growing the company through strategic partnerships and close collaboration with aerospace and defence communities, contributing to a safer and more secure world.

He is also a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, recognising both his industry contribution and his dedication to encouraging and mentoring young engineers towards professional registration.
